Explore the 2014–15 NBA shot log data. See how shots were distributed across conditions, which conditions moved together, and how one group of shots compared to another.

How to Use This Tool

Pick any questions below, choose an analysis type, and click Run Analysis. Expand for details.

1. Pick shot conditions

Check the shot-condition variables you want to look at. Use the search box or category buttons to find them.

2. Choose what to compute

How were shots distributed? — Frequencies. Which conditions moved together? — Correlations. How did one group of shots compare to another? — Crosstabs (pick exactly two conditions).

3. Run and read

Click Run Analysis. Results appear below — scroll down. All numbers use the survey’s design weights, so they reflect the full U.S. likely-voter population, not just the raw sample.
